Just one week after it was revealed that Aaron Paul will appear alongside Bryan Cranston in PopCorners' Super Bowl ad as their Breaking Bad characters, Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, the first teaser featuring them together again has been released.
And, as the video demonstrates, it's great to have them back together as Jesse attempts to start the RV and the two argue about whether he'll flood it. It's a reimagining of a scene from Season 2's "4 Days Out" episode. It promises to break soon at the end.
Furthermore, PopCorners has revealed that Raymond Cruz will reprise his role as kingpin Tuco Salamanca, and that the commercial and teaser videos were directed by Vince Gilligan, the creator, head writer, executive producer, and director of Breaking Bad.
Aaron Paul's Jesse is seen in the video snacking on PopCorners White Cheddar while sitting in one of those iconic lawn chairs. (The one beside him is empty.) We see Jesse and Walt's infamous RV as the camera pans out from where he is watching the sun set over the desert (the original seen in the Breaking Bad pilot and used throughout the show). Jesse's phone starts to ring. "Yo, what's up?" he inquires.
Bryan Cranston's involvement in a Breaking Bad commercial for PopCorners during the Super Bowl was first revealed on January 4th. "Breaking soon," he wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of himself as Walter White, holding a PopCorners bag.
