Myntra onboards Ranbir Kapoor as the new face of the brand
Myntra, an Indian e-commerce company, has announced that Ranbir Kapoor has been named as its brand ambassador. In Myntra's soon-to-launch brand campaign, "Be Extraordinary Everyday," Kapoor will be seen emphasising on men's trendy apparel.
Kiara Advani, the brand's current ambassador, will keep raising awareness of the women's western wear category.
The new advertising campaign, "Be Extraordinary Everyday," claims to promote Myntra as the place where consumers can upgrade their everyday style and fashion with access to the greatest in branded clothing.
Speaking on the announcement of the brand ambassadors and the initiation of the brand campaign, Sunder Balasubramanian, chief marketing officer, Myntra, said, “Ranbir Kapoor embodies the spirit of Myntra as a creative force shaping the world of fashion today. He is a true original, who has been a part of some of our previous brand films, and now we are happy to continue our collaboration officially by welcoming him as the new face of Myntra. He is not only a style icon but also an inspiration to the youth and we are looking forward to reaching out to his fan base across the country.”
In representing Myntra, Kapoor joins a group of stars that also includes Kiara Advani, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Vijay Deverakonda. This strengthens the platform's ties to the country's film industry and establishes Myntra as the go-to source for the newest in on-trend clothing and styles.
In order to connect with customers, especially those outside of metro areas, Myntra will collaborate with leading influencers from throughout India as part of this effort to provide engaging and pertinent content.
